GRINDING

For making the best tasting beverage, grinding is an important step. We select the best quality grain for production process. Firstly, the grain is coarsely grinded in an automated mill such that each grain is of almost same size.

MASHING

The grinded grains are mixed with specially temperature controlled hot water and the mixture is fed into a mashing tub. The tub is specially designed to retain the heat and is constantly stirred. This process allows enzymes to work on starch and coverts it to sugar. The resultant mixture is called Wort. The remaining grain is removed and used as cattle feed.

FERMENTATION

The Wort is cooled to ideal temperature and activated yeast is added to initiate fermentation. This is the process which produces the great tasting alcohol. Yeast is allowed to show its magic for about 2 to 3 days.

DISTILLATION

The mixture produced in previous step is called Wash. It is flowed into the wash charger and the actual process of distillation is initiated. The Wash is transferred to a still where it is boiled. As alcohol boils at a lower temperature, it rises first and is condensed in a tub. The alcohol collected at this stage is called Low Wine which undergoes another process of distillation to yield 95% alcohol.

BLENDING

Our passionate blenders now take over the manufacturing process. The alcohol goes through several steps of testing, blending and tasting to produce the iconic taste of Zimbabwe.

BOTTLING & PACKAGING

The iconic taste is now bottled and packed in an automated plant. Our vast delivery & transportation network ensures that the taste reaches to the remotest household of Zimbabwe.
